Diploma in Governance & Public Administration
The Diploma Programme in Governance & Public Administration provides students with a holistic understanding of the challenges facing administrators and leaders in the public sector. This is based on a historical overview of the theories and practices that have shaped public administration as a profession, and critically applying these lessons to the Myanmar context. Students will also learn about Myanmar’s public sector, from the national to local level, and key topics related to public administration such as budgeting, planning, and governance reform. Furthermore, the programme empowers students by teaching core leadership skills such as project management capacity building and applied research. By grounding the programme in research and critical thinking, students will become self-directed learners who can successfully enter mid-level management roles or pursue further education to achieve their long-term goals.
