Diploma in Comparative Politics
The Diploma Programme in Comparative Politics will provide students with a systematic understanding of political systems around the world and compare them with political institutions in Myanmar. In this nine-month programme, students will take a total of nine courses, three courses per term, which will cover key topics such as democracy, federalism, diversity, ethnic politics, and social movements. By emphasizing the comparative study of political science and governance, this programme will equip students with the analytical tools to critically analyze existing and potential future political systems in Myanmar at this critical point in time. Students will gain a holistic training grounded in both theoretical and empirical research, which will help sharpen their critical thinking and leadership skills.
