Start Date: October 30, 2023


Duration: The Diploma in International Relations is a seven month program, divided into two semesters, consisting of three months coursework for the first and second semester plus a one month individual research project. The final one-month period is intended to provide the students with experience in undertaking a research project, and each student will be mentored during this period. Students must commit to two contact hours per week (Research mentorship) and at least eight hours  for conducting their research.


Tuition Fees: 200,000 MMK


Scholarship Opportunities: There will be competitive scholarships and partial scholarships awarded by the university. Scholarships will be awarded based on the financial needs and impressive academic background of the candidates. Scholarship awardees need to maintain at least a 3.0 GPA per semester.



Program Objectives:

This undergraduate diploma program in International Relations aims to equip students with the skills to critically evaluate foreign policy decisions and diplomatic strategies. Students will learn how to evaluate the effects of international relations on global political, economic, and social events. In order to handle today's global difficulties, such as international wars, human rights concerns, and global governance, they will learn to utilize research and analytical abilities. The program also highlights how crucial political institutions are in influencing global relations. Moreover, students can explore how regional institutions and political systems are being practiced. Graduates will be well-equipped to continue their education or pursue a variety of professional options in the industry, such as those in the public sector, non-governmental organizations, or the private sector.



Admission Requirements:

  • Educational Background: Applicants should have completed their secondary II education or high school with a recognized certificate or documentation.

  • Academic Interest and Motivation: Applicants should have strong academic interest and motivation in international relations and global affairs.

Language Proficiency: English language proficiency must be at least intermediate.
