Vision

To foster an environment in which a future generation of thinkers can engage with alternative ideas to re-imagine new modes of society, cultures, and artistic expressions.

Mission
  • To nurture critical conversations about and encourage intersectional and multidimensional interventions on colonial, racist, sexist, classist, and ableist perspectives and practices in our societies.

  • To promote collaboration, and ethical and empirical research practices beyond disciplinary boundaries in arts, humanities, and social sciences.

  • To offer space and resources to question, reflect, and ultimately dismantle the dominant narratives and practices of external colonialism such as white supremacy and saviorism; internal colonialism such as Burma Buddhist supremacy and burmanization; and other forms of cultural and social domination by class and gender in Myanmar society.
